mulegolf My Garmin S42 lost all of it's courses that came preprogrammed into it. Do any of you know what I have to do to recover them? Do I have to send it back to Garmin for them to do it? I liked the watch in general but it did have the habit from time to time to take forever to acquire the satellite and find my course. Some times I could play an entire hole or even more before it found the satellite and my course. I usually would have until sometime in April before I needed to worry about that but this year we are spending February in Texas (down by South Padre Island) so I'm planning on taking my clubs along.
Eguller mulegolf It can be a reset to factory settings or a firmware update that works. Consult the Garmin online trouble guide if all else fails.
Luc_Van_Daele mulegolf Course file got corrupted, update with Garmin Express and it should run again.
fatshot Call customer service. I had an issue with my Garmin (not the watch) not starting up this season. Called customer service, and the guy talked me through what to do and had it up and running in 5 minutes!!
Rickochet I had a similar issue with a Bushnell watch. Called their CS and the tech talked me through holding buttons down to reboot and had it back to normal in a few minutes. You could also try to find a video on Youtube for how to reboot your watch. Here is one.
sdandrea1 My Garmin GPS dumped all my courses and replaced them with exact replicas...... Stephen Wright
mulegolf I think I got it updated. I may drive out to the local course later today to see if it will select it correctly.
