Stu1961 I thought GMU would have some sort of chance. Not overly impressed with Oregon but they get gifted a first round opponent as did Ole Miss. This isn't the NCAA basketball tournament where you get a 1/16 or 2/15 matchup, that's what both those games felt like. ND , Texas or Vandy would have been a helluva lot more interesting.
The conf are too large and unbalanced where the Duke scenario plays out. If they have to do auto bids then just do the top 3 or 4. Tulane would have still made this year with 4 but IMO that will rarely happen. I'd be fine doing away with that but have it be weighted by the committee vs auto bid.
