      Seeding was a major issue for the first CFP. Penn State was basically given a BYE to the semis. SMU and Boise State? That's a non-conference tune-up for most powers in FBS.

      Conference winners should not be gifted better seeding. The 4 teams sitting in the BYE positions all lost.

      Alabama has to feel very slighted after seeing some of the results of these other teams in this CFP.

      Ohio State vs. Penn State rematch on a neutral field? Your likely national champion beaten by Michigan on their home field last week of your scheduled opponents?

      Think of all the years the teams were voted in. Penn State wouldn't be in and neither would Ohio State. At least this year is a step in the right direction to legitimize college football.

        And, PSU defense is showing up early. 🤔

          propman Maybe now not so much? The run blocking by the ND O-line looked pretty good on that drive.

            Great game, great coaching adjustments by the Irish coaching staff at half time. This is what the CFP should be about very good match up.

              ND had the perfect call on 2nd down with the PSU blitz on the left side. Caught em!

                The kick had a knuckle ball wobble to it and it seemed to jump left half way to the goal post. Replay showed the kicker watching it intensely until it took that left wobble. 😰

                  Hell of a game last night. I don't expect tonight's to be as close.

                                After that loss to Michigan OSU just flipped a switch. They look absolutely unbeatable to me right now.

                                    I don't expect OhSt to boat race Texas, but I also don't expect them to have a let down. IMO a competitive contest at least for a while.
