Par4QC Yes it means divide revenue sharing equally between men and women, but cutting some women's sports won't make a difference. They would just have to divide the women's "share" among fewer athletes. What's more likely to happen is "other" men's sports that don't generate revenue (baseball, soccer, track, etc.) would be cut.
Football and men's basketball are the sources of the revenue that schools would use to pay the players, so I understand why this decision wouldn't be well received.
