The quality of work is typically questionable as more often than not it's a HS kid slapping grips on after school....but that can vary depending on location.
When it comes to clubwerk I think it's better to charge a flat fee for the job versus an hourly rate. GT charges $15 ( plus cost of the shaft ) to reshaft a club ( regripping add $3 )
That's about 15-20 minutes work max. If I am charging $25 an hour that's only $8 for a reshaft so I charge $15/club for steel and $20 for graphite.
For Friends and coworkers I typically do little jobs for free these days. Change a grip , reshaft etc. if it's a set of clubs that's different.
Getting to GT is an inconvenience where Lee lives so he should be entitled to charge a premium for quality work
