Nat Hey I resemble this remark, though im not buying a new driver every year. I recently had a full set stolen from me (was gaming JPX923 Hot Metal Pros), so i researched and decided to save a little $ and took a chance on the new TE+ v4's. Im so glad I did too, they are amazing. I paid less for the full set, +4H, +3W, than I did for just my Mizuno irons.
Im down to a 14 handicap the last month or so ive been playing the Maltby's, and feel like im getting better almost every round. Ball striking is better, mishits are better. I feel like im close to breaking into the 70's just based on better course management alone.
My friends cant believe the quality of the TE+ irons.
I custom ordered mine +1/2", +1.5 upright, KBS tour stiff, Winn jumbo grips. My Mizunos were stronger lofted, but I feel like my carry distance has hardly fallen off at all with the TE+ because the strikes are pure more often.
