Very few of the native Texans I golf with give one crap about the Stars. I find more fans among the northern transplants. I would bet it's the same in the other 3 cities right now.

The city of Tempe just had a referendum last night for a new Coyotes arena and the voters said no. A big chance they will be leaving the valley.

Really, they'd be better off in Milwaukee or Madison than Phoenix. There aren't a ton of people, but they'd be into it.

About 10 years ago I was in Phoenix and I went to a Coyotes game with former FGIer Espe. We bought the cheapest tickets in the nosebleed section and after the first period we moved to prime seats near centre ice. The place was not even close to being sold out.

I know a few people from Michigan that have moved to the Phoenix area. They've been to a couple games, usually when the Wings are in town, but definitely are not into it like they were here.
I really like how the Panthers have been playing but Canes will be tough. Dallas vs Vegas could very well go 7. Could hinge on who gets a couple bounces.

Panthers keeping it going!!! Oettinger just got pulled. Stupid, stupid penalty by Benn. Instead of 7, these could both be sweeps! I'm still pulling for the Panthers to take it.

Love to see Cassidy get to the finals. The Bruins dumped him because he wasn’t a pussy to the players and be sensitive to their needs. So Cassidy’s boys get to play for the cup while the Bruins players get to adjust their tampons.
