Finally had the opportunity to game an LTDx Max for the first time yesterday…full 18 hole round. You are all correct…this head is legit 😳
Feel & sound are such a personal thing as we know…but this thing is a HUGE winner in that category for ME.
Dan @Eguller was gracious enough to sell me this like new 10.5* LTDx Max head when I was looking to build a new driver for one of my coworkers. Also finally had a test bed for the @LogicalOne Leveler shaft that I have been waiting to try out….so proceeded to build up this combo in stiff flex at 45” with a Lamkin Plus grip.
Bottom Line Up Front = my coworker will need to buy something else from me or someone else because I am NOT going to sell him this particular driver combo…at least not for now…😂🤣
Head was set at standard 10.5* for this first round…forgiveness was great…had one hit a little towards the heel and another towards the toe a bit and the penalties were minimal.
Overall distance seems to be longer than my Exotics C722/HOF Code 5 stiff combo…and to be fair this combo is a great one for me also. But as mentioned, for me, the Cobra/Leveler wins for feel & sound and was longer…at least yesterday it was.
What can I say about the @LogicalOne Leveler?…for the first time out with no tweaking of head adjustments…the feel, trajectory, spin, distance all seemed great…for the price point this shaft is currently at (on sale for $35) I don’t think anything can compete with it bang for buck.
My last drive of the day on #18 at my home course was the longest I have ever hit one in the fairway on that hole…Cobra/Leveler for the Win.
