pike51 I just did one, on a wedge. I used a plain old bench grinder for the rough shape. Then a hand file for light clean up, then sandpaper for obvious scratches.
I basically grind at a right angle (to the face) into the leading edge. Of course I roll the edge up and down to get a nice rolled edge. I’m always moving the work up and down, side to side. And going lightly. It doesn’t take long. It really helps to have a club that has the shape you are shooting for, to look at side by side.
