Why no adjustable component drivers? Seems to be where the driver market is.

If I understand this from Banoman, he stated in the past that the cost for tooling and for production is higher than a non-adjustable hosel.

Plus, Component users are supposed to be able to do a little golf club building .

Fact is, the single most beneficial feature from the adjustable hosel , for me anyway, is the easy of changing shaft.
Switching shaft by using a wrench is mush easier than pulling the shaft .

Golfworks has had an adjustable model for a number of years now.

Cost is higher and I don't know if the component guys have been able to recoup those costs -- when the adjustable head is $30 more than the fixed, I know I feel I can do just fine without the adjustability. The shaft swapping is the only benefit, but then you need to add in the cost of another adapter as well.

I've got one of these in 9.5. Love the sound and the look at address. I think it's 440cc. Absolutely not a closed face. Bought it new for under $100 a couple years ago, so I suspect you could get one today for a pile of dirt.

Have a 10.5°, bought the head and shafted with an Aldila DVS R flex playing at 47 1/2" . Just put in a Diamana Red in stiff at 45 3/4 and will try it out if the weather will let dry a bit.
Gets tired swinging an over length driver in the back nine, I believe the days swinging 47"-48" driver is over for me unless I start the work out .

While component heads with the shaft adjustability are not as common they are still out there. Diamond Tour and Golf Works both sell a couple of adjustable driver heads each. Wishon had one that a few years back that did last much more than a year before he discontinued it. Years ago Hireko had a couple of adjustable heads that I think you could still pick up on clearance.
