Should I complain to Callaway?

My wife bought me a dozen Supersoft balls for Christmas of 2021 and I finally started using them recently.

One ball, I was using it and noticed a whizzing sound after impact. I took it out of play, but never found anything wrong with the ball. Still have it but have not used it since.

Today, I was playing the same ball I have used for a few rounds now (hence how scuffed up it is), but I was setting the ball down to putt and noticed this:

I don't understand how you can get multiple rounds out of the same ball. This is a foreign concept to me.😁

Reminds me of the recalled Kirkland ball, I received a refund with the option to keep the balls, which I use for practice.

BTW, the "whizzer" ball looks almost brand new, but still makes the noise after contact. I assume it is cracked as well, but have not found it.

I sent some pics of an Cally glove that basically fell apart and they handled it perfectly. Top notch for me. Go for it.

Eguller People would be surprised what a company might do when a complaint is filed. And they ask for no proof/returns.

The ball above had less than 4 rounds on it (I can NEVER keep a ball longer than that).

I only used it because the yellow Titleist Pro-V that I was using decided to go hard left when I put a perfect swing on it and took cover in some dense brush and bushes.

Cally balls were shit until MGS absolutely destroyed them in the ball lab. Afterwards, Cally invested tons into their plant to make the balls better and more consistent.

I never lived in that era, or even knew about it.
I've used Callaway balls since the '90s. All of them have always been top notch, and I've used various models, if not all of them.

I always liked a lot of the Cally balls (especially on sale), but I remember MGS trashing the quality. Oddly there was the original golf ball cutting guy on IG who wasn't finding that many bad Cally balls, but was finding plenty of bad Prov1s. He had a bit of a p*ssing contest with MGS as they claimed he was cutting them wrong....despite the fact that video clearly showed them using the same cutting tool lol.

Par4QC I didn't either. I knew about the finding that cores might be off center on Chrome Soft, but never observed the difference in play. I kept hoping maybe the publicity would drive the price down, but it never did. I'm certainly not a good enough player to say if a ball moved right or left a couple of yards more than it should have, but I usually know whether I put a good swing on it or not. I've never put what I thought was a great swing on one and then watched in disappointment as it curved hard away from the target. It was always one of the most accurate balls for me. The only problem I had was with the price (which applies to any of the $40 plus balls).
