Subsonic Where I grew up, a group of old farts drinking coffee was called a coffee clutch.

Here it is called McDonalds.

Rickochet It used to be Hardees here. Then when the Hy-Vee grocery chain put in the eating areas, they all moved there. Hardees are all but abandoned these days.

What does the Klatsch have to say about Valentines Day? Older people at work were talking about it and felt that you should not have to worry about giving out Valentines treats, cards etc... The younger crowd finds a way to complain about mostly anything, so most of us decided to do nothing.

Frickin' hate Valentine's Day.

As for the earlier topic, I don't drink coffee, but I like almost any Little Debbie snack cake. Favorites are the Swiss Rolls, the peanut butter wafer one (Nutty Buddy, maybe?), and the one that is two oatmeal cookies with cream in between.

This is one of the things hit hardest by Covid. Has doubled in price in my area, for the individual packages, at neighborhood convenient places. Now $1. I would think there should be some type of government regulation.

And I am out of the honey buns. And it is my 9:30 p.m. coffee break.
