Subsonic Coffee Clutch is more of a term for a Geezer Gang than a group that drinks coffee. Basically, a group of old farts that get together to chew the fat. Chew the fat is not literal as well and it means to have a discussion.

Subsonic Just curious, is it a regional thing? Where I grew up, a group of old farts drinking coffee was called a coffee clutch. Did any of you grow up in an area that was like that?

Par4QC Subsonic Well, it does make one more aware of the need to get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Much more urgency, and would hope that most have the capability to make it in time. But, that....depends.
