Yeah, him and Steven Stills were still talking, but last I heard Graham and Neil were not. Would like to think they reconciled before he passed.
Also, he was the father of two of Melissa Etheridge and her partners kids. One died not too long ago of opioid addiction.
David Crosby lived a long life considering him abusing his body with alcohol and drugs thus needing a liver transplant years ago.
I’ve seen many interviews with him and he was a very articulate and interesting person. Doesn’t make him a great person. But his place in music history is well cemented.
As a side note I saw Roger McQuinn (of the Birds) in a small bar on Cape Cod in 1988. There were no more than 20 people watching him. Me and my cousin were front and center. More people were watching a Celtics playoff game. Lol
Seeing a musician of his talent in this case playing a 12 string acoustic guitar up close and personal was amazing. These guys like McQuinn and Crosby are / were immensely talented.
I remember seeing Crosby and Nash with my high school girlfriend and it’s a memory that is still with me. Other than The Beach Boys and The Bee Gees CSNY could harmonize as good or better than any group.
