DC300 Thanks for the input, and we will definitely be doing the things you mentioned. Every attendee has a badge around their neck with a QR code, and whenever someone stops by the booth we ask if we can scan their QR so we can send them info via email after the show. And the sample pack also contains an info card w/promo code for a discount on the website.
As for return on being there, last year was our first year at the show and it was VERY successful. We did about as much in sales in 3 days the show, as we typically do in a very busy month! And then of course there are the after the show sales, which are harder to track but we do use a unique promo code on the sample pack card which makes it easy to identify people who placed an order from a sample that they got.
