You been in too many Wallyworlds this week.
There is already a thread, with all the info, and 1 buyer....that has admitted to it. So far.
I should say 'imbedded' in 2 other threads. No one TJs anything; not possible on GB.
Top line in thick and modern lofts.
I’ve not seen the Kirkland to know if they are “crap” so I can’t compare. These look like very thick tops lines and huge offset.
Another hollow body ironwith lightweight steel as stock shaft
. How original
Looks as if it is the same/similar to the Sub 70 699 Iron.
A 48° club is missing whatever you younsters want to call this these days, so I'll give it a pass. 48° is not a wedge but a scoring iron; look at the RAM wedges on offer : 52° 56°, 60°; like most budget offers no 48° wedge. Golf sets without the clubs at scoring distance are pretty useless.
Luc_Van_Daele 48° wedge. Golf sets without the clubs at scoring distance are pretty useless.
I'd bet that the group of players that will buy a set of irons for under $400, will never miss 'a 48* scoring club'. I'd also bet that the group of players that buy iron sets over $1000, would also never miss a 48* 'scoring club'.
I'm not totally surprised to see that the Ram name is being used for this kind of stuff now, seeing as it happened to MacGregor too. I'll stick to my '75 Golden Rams
Curiosity got the best of me and after some googling, the same thing is happening with the Spalding name too. Hm.
My 718 ap1 set has the pw at 43, the gw at 48. My vokeys are at 54* and 58* .
Prior to this past Summer, the only club I could spin was the 48* and that was on a simulator. This Summer and Fall all of a sudden I am now spinning the 48* and 58* . I only use the 54* for sand play, but that too has become 2nd nature, just hit the club and there is no problem. The 58* lw has become my best scoring club next to the 48*. Golf is fun again.
My set has a gap between 46 and 50. No wonder I suck.
Eguller Probably get some high dollars on eBay. If you don't say anything in the description someone is bound to think they are early Tiger Woods milled irons.

Oh.....they are much bettter than that - without question, the best feeling irons I've every hit. And,
I've hit most of them. Probably don't have the game for those butter knives now.
Got the RAMs in today. Good Looking irons. Hard to go wrong for 4 bones. I scalped these on the bay for $250
Looking forward to hitting them at the Range
I’m surprised some you complain about these having too much offset ( offset is your friend) and a thick top line. I doubt other than Subsonic, any of you actually seen these in person. I doubt the Acer irons, old Callaway Big Berthas, almost anything old Ping that a lot of you play have no offset and thin top lines . It’s like Golf wrx over here now
.
Said it before… follow Papa D. Shoots under 80, doesn’t hit alot of greens because he doesn’t hit it far but knows about forgiveness and offset keeps it straight.
I just looked these up and they come in black! If I was unhappy with my irons I’d be itching to give these a shot. They are reminding me of the Ping G700 by pics
Typhoon I hear ya on the black wear probability. So if they are smaller than the G700 which is a good thing they might compare to a Pxg 0211 which I play and like possibly? Seems like a good deal. My buddy just got his Tahomas and he’s only hit on the sim but he’s loving them. Similar prices I think
