garyt1957 Pretty sure there is some psychology science baked into those ultra-long presentations. I don't know all the details, but I think that the main idea is that the sales closure rate of people who make it all the way through the interminable video is really high.
I think it has to do with the fact that once you have invested that much time into something, you almost feel obligated. It's makes you feel, at least subconsciously, that lf you don't follow through with a purchase, you just wasted a ton of time and have nothing to show for it. These presentations may also play into a strong placebo effect, in that after your brain has waded through all the convoluted logic about why the supplement absolutely has to work (even though you had never heard of any of those biochemicals, enzymes, etc ever before in your life) you have become convinced, in a whole brain way, that it will do what it says it will do. And often that is enough to ensure that it will happen. This secures more re-orders.
Again, I am not an expert in all this, but I am sure that companies don't do it that way for no reason.
