sdandrea1 I hear you. I have a new-ish set P770, but I like that the lofts aren't as jacked as the P790 or others. I know I probably have just enough SS to take advantage of the better tech allowing for higher ballflight, but I like to hit it as high as I can. I spend so much time in the trees that I have nearly mastered the low shot. Plus I don't want 3 gap wedges in my set.
It seems like manufacturers have this great technology, like that Ti Carbon hybrid head that's a small driver, but then they do things to offset the forgiveness like reduce the loft and make the club an inch longer with an ultralight shaft. It could have been a much easier to hit 4 iron replacement, but now you've made it a small 3 wood.
