johnnydoom Lazy has nothing to do with it. If dying with pristine property to leave to someone is important to you that is fine. It is not important to me. If resale value or looking at nice clubs is important to you that is also fine, but it is not of significant importance to me. I’m not particularly sentimental about things I buy. If I had spent 300 hours forging and crafting heads of my own design with hand tools I might feel different about it. Perhaps also if a not easily replaceable tool critical to daily living.
I just take pride in my shit. It’s not a $10 hammer like I think Gary said…. If it were a $600 hammer I might take better care of it.
I wouldn’t want to look down at a clubhead that’s all chipped and banged up. Just like looking at a clubhead with sky marks on it…🤮like Sneakys Tuna melt.
I also would get my car fixed if I were in an accident vs. driving around in a car with a crumpled hood, no fender and the drivers door hanging off.
But that’s just me… some people don’t mind looking at chipped and scraped clubs as well as driving around in a brown ‘76 Pinto with a Pink door
