I (think I) am finding some things. It seems to come down to length of my backswing. Some clubs make me go back shorter or just right, and some make me go back longer which is too far. I don't think about it, it just happens either way. I don't think about my swing when I'm making it, I just swing. If I have to think about stopping a club on the way back, I'm screwed.
Like in this case, my 6 iron goes back the right amount. So do my woods. My shorter irons go back too far. I think I am finding that adding head weight will shorten the back swing. So that's where I'm going. Adding lead tape until it feels right. I gave up on the MOI match though. Well, I'm matching something, but it's adding more weight per club than MOI would suggest. Like making a heavier MOI for each successive shorter club. That probably equates to a MOI match at somewhere other than the butt of the club. It's definitely not a swing weight match.
The other answer still could be SL clubs. Now I don't think it's posture. I think I swing the longer clubs better because of the way they balance.
I wish I understood Monte somebody's MBI MOI Balance idea. I think it's adding 3 or 4 grams of shaft weight per shorter club, ie ascending mass shafts. @scotts33 Scott have you looked at it?
edit: Probably no one cares, but I just found a WRX thread on MBI.
