colej Not sure why they chose to make a separate site. Most companies will just list their refurbs on same site as home.
Checking the addresses, both are the same.

I think the Link1 putter I had was a refurb. There was 1 very tiny mark that just seemed out of place. I say it that way because it was almost microscopic. But it was there. Hell, I did sell it for a lot more than listed refurbs though.šŸ˜„

These are HOT items

We just became a fitting centre this week and have already sold the putters we ordered and have orders in for more.

The turn around time is a bit long ( they are experiencing HUGE order volumes) which might discourage some but from those I know using them, they love them.

I have 2 rounds in with mine. I love this putter. I chuckled at it a year ago at first. I really feel like they make putting easier. Worth the money and wait times. I wish I could be half as pumped about any of the other clubs in my bag

bigshank Itā€™ one of those things that makes me laugh. People spend $600 for a driver they use 10-14 times a round. And every year they will spend $600 for another one that goes just as far and is t any better. Then you look in their bags and they have a shit assed Ping Anser from 1975 becauseā€¦.

The putter isnā€™t glamorous. The most used club in the bag is an afterthought because itā€™s not glamorous. People spit on putter fittings. You get fitted for irons, fitted for a driver, fitted for bounce on wedges yet youā€™re either using an old putter or you bought something off the rack that is too long for you, says ā€œScotty Cameronā€ on it so it must be good.

These Zero torque putters are going to help lower scores. If you save 3-5 shots a round with puttingā€¦

Typhoon I picked up the v2 from Kelly a while back. When I ordered it, I had it built with the longest shaft listed, and I got the weight kit. That way I can play with the weights. After that, I think it's a learning period. I need to work on my alignment when I'm putting. I'm either way off, or dead on. Speed is pretty good when I'm off on alignment, and a little high when I'm dead on.
While the putter isn't glamorous, I've found one I want to keep in the bag for a long time.
That said, the lab putters definitely have a following and I think for good reason.
I think you are right when you said that everyone releasing their own version is proof that the science is there.

Did you do any kind of fitting or testing prior to order?

We fit and sold another 1/2 dozen in the past 3 days and seems bookings are strong. The local monopoly , golf big box store doesnt have the fitting putter to fit so people can only buy the stock shelf model. A bit silly for a $600 Cdn + putter

Typhoon Then you look in their bags and they have a shit assed Ping Anser from 1975 becauseā€¦

Lol, The Ping Anser has more than 500 Tour wins, including 19 menā€™s major championships.

pellmell Probably the most copied putter ever.
I was just given an anser 4 to regrip. That slant neck is enticing. I give it some roll time before it goes back.

pellmell Lol, The Ping Anser has more than 500 Tour wins, including 19 menā€™s major championships.

And, that probably doesn't count the 'copycats' šŸ¤”

pellmell Well yeahā€¦ back then there was what, the Ping Anser and the Bullsye.. a minuscule amount of putter choices compared to now. The shooters I see, a used one at Play it again Sports is $30ā€¦. That works for them, they have no ideaā€¦ ā€œPing is good right?ā€šŸ˜‚. Too much tech out there for any serious golfer to use an old Anser.

                Get this one at amazon:

$20.00 with 2 balls. Cheaper than you can buy a grip.

Walterjn Yeah but hereā€™s the thing. With me anyway, and last night on the Golf Channel they actually talked about and had player interviews about mallet putters. The guys using mallets now said it would be hard going back to a blade.

The latter part of last year I tried my Ping Tyne 4 mallet and I was easily a couple strokes better. I was amazed. I always putted ok with my 5 Anser style putters but even though my stroke felt solid, I felt like I didnā€™t make as many as I should. Once I went to the Tyne 4ā€¦. No complaints. I had the original Scotty Futura and putted great with it. Didnā€™t realize at the time that I putted so well with it because it was a mallet. Nobody really uses mallets then and went back to a bladeā€¦. But I always putted better with that Futura

Typhoon blade putters all look the same, few little one can do with the appearance.
Mallet putter have so much to work with, that you can do anything with the design, weight, and appearance. My thoughts about putters are,
                    1) how well do I putt with it
                    2) how do I like the appearance of it as I line it up
                    3) is it heavy enough?
I prefer a heavier putter, I can use the momentum to hit through the ball, instead of trying to force a light putter to transfer the same force.

Walterjn The old Ping Anser was too light. Tough t keep online. I prefer something a little heavier as well. I use a shorter length putter so I need to be sure the head weight is enough.
