I thought they would be, especially after I tried the Maxflis that have an unusual sole shape, so I ponied up about $250 and bought a set of those irons NOS.
Took them to the range and absolutely hated them. Sold them on e-bay at a huge loss.
For me, the design looks like it ought to be awesome, but in reality I couldn't hit those irons worth a damn. Maybe the shafts were all wrong for me or something. I dunno. Maybe if I had kept at it I would have gotten better with them. Never even played a round of golf. Figured I'd keep them as new as possible to maximize return on resell. If I had hit them pretty well on the range I'd have probably still been gaming them.
