Weirfan I think we are in the exact same page. I have never analyzed my cart vs walking scores, but I certainly enjoy it more when I walk and I can say my best rounds ever came walking, with the exception of one round. That said, those scores came when I played a lot more and walked 98% of the time.
I allow the circumstance and the people you are with to dictate if it’s ride or walk, I may just need to man up and walk more. A lot of times I find myself taking 3 clubs and sending them off with the cart to screw around anyway haha. Aside from a Par 5 or a really bad tee shot, it’s usually a putter and 2 wedges, probably an indication I play really foolish golf most of the time the more I think of it.
