CallMeAl Par4QC Clamp a 25/64 (.490) drill bit in a vise a hand ream you.370 ferrule. There'll be enough play to make it fit.
colej Par4QC I have some new 640W ferrules. They are .400 ID but a very thin OD. I’m almost certain they were for .400 shafted woods. I’ve got 14 of them if you’re interested.
ptjn1201 Gee, if you wanted .294", I might have been able to rustle up a few -- had bought a little plastic box off EBay with some of the smaller ferrules. Granted, I have no idea where they are, since we've just moved, and things are all over the place.
ptjn1201 Some Orlimar TriMetals were around that size, some were just under .370", some .335". I thought you got yourself a Wilson Fat Shaft
Par4QC ptjn1201 TM Firesole with the Rifle steel. I think the bubble shafts are that same size also. Honma has .385 with some of their Vizard shafts, so may have to get some of theirs and do some reaming/heating.
Par4QC CallMeAl I'm going to be trying that, but the tops of the ferrules are thin. Thinking they may not have much left when done.
darpar Par4QC the tops of the ferrules are thin. Thinking they may not have much left when done. Cut the end of the ferrule with a sharp razor blade till you get to a thicker/shorter part of the ferrule.
