How do you get from "nobody makes clubs the way we do, period" to "buy my $519 driver for $219 with any shaft you want" ?? How does their customer base reac...

Thinking I might just do that next time...this particular PXG fitter dude is going to be in town more often now since another golf course in town has just announced they will be a demo/rental location for them starting this season.

During my fitting today, Bob Parson's son called my fitter guy to confirm "some stuff" about meeting with the new owner of the golf course I mentioned above...when he got off the phone he said "damn...his son sounds just like Mr. Parsons and I told him such"...and I guess his kid said "well I better...I am from the same loins"...😆

FYI that on my warmups I roasted my ZX5 a couple times and I think the fitter was nervous that PXG wasn't going to "win"...he actually asked to take a look at my driver and was scoping it out and took a few practice swings with it...he said he doesn't see Srixon hardly at all and had never come across a ZX5 yet...and he does a lot of damn fittings...hahahaha

VigilanteTrail Only hit 1 Srixon, and it was very surprising. Just as good in every dept. as any other driver head I've hit. @Walterjn is still hitting the same model, iirc, the 785.

I had a ZX7 that I sold to @Nat son. One of the longest heads I’d hit in while.

Par4QC Yes, I can hit center repeatedly. With some drivers.

I find that center area on nearly every drive with all my drivers. My problem is the clubhead is going too slow.
