The thing I like about the sftec is it has a dependable ballflight. Takes the right side out of play
Callaway Epic SZ
Yes, I found it to be fad biased as well. Funny because I never go right and for about 3 weeks everything was right side until I dialed it in.
Going to be interesting to see how the M1 stacks up against the lst numbers. Only the stock shaft right now...need to pick up 2-3 more adapters.

Typhoon The M1 was too high launching/spinning for me with everything at demo days, the Ping G LST crrrrruuushed it, but then I went with the G30 for price and supposedly more fade bias. I like the G30, this year she gets the HZRDUS shaft to see if I can make it a true animal. The M1 is great, no doubt, I hope you knock the snot out of it!
I hit the Epic today and the Epic subzero. The epic looked better at address but both were fine. They both performed the same for me...subzero maybe a little less spinning but nothing like the dreadful subzero from last year.
I'd compare the Epic/epic subzero to the Ping G30/g30 lst. The subzero was as easy to use as the Epic. Ballflight and launch both mid. I was using the 9 degree models and they were launching 9-10 degrees. Spin....Callaway range balls in the AG SIM so I can say much about that...you need the balls with the lines on them for actual spin. Readings i saw were 2900-3200. Subzero only knocking off 100 rpm.
Best thing was that Fujikura pro shaft....I freaking love that shaft. For some reason I can never feel a shaft load. But I get goose bumps over loading feel I get with this. The same shaft more or less is the stock one in the M1 I have and I love that...feel it load ,hold the lag and boom.
