Taki27 A guy I work with is really short and his clubs are way too upright. They are old knockoff components so to bend them where they need to be wouldn’t work. I picked up some heads for him and told him I would do the reshaft. I pulled the shafts using less heat than ever. They basically popped right off. Here is the tip “prep”. It looks like a quick gauge of some metal, otherwise the chrome was shiny.
Taki27 Since I don’t think he plays unless I’m playing with him, I was the likely victim of a head flying off, lol
sdandrea1 LBlack14 I wanna see the old knock off components. ....and don't forget pics of the cavities! 😉
Taki27 sdandrea1 Surprisingly, they were tipped pretty close to 1/2 inch between each club. The cuts are less than clean, but nothing a sander couldn’t clean up.
Typhoon I was just looking at the PXG irons 2 of our members who play together have. I counted 3 ferrule creeps on one set and 2 on the other. I almost volunteered to push them down with my puller but I’ve learned to just keep my mouth shut.
colej Typhoon Their quality control on builds is terrible. Swingweight are way off, lengths are way off, nobody builds golf clubs the way we do….
