VigilanteTrail Irish Brown Bread along with some homemade Pasties currently baking in the oven. Although pasties are technically Cornish…plenty an Irish bloke enjoyed them back in the mining days in my hometown of Butte, America (MT). 👍☘️
johnnydoom Daughter and I just enjoyed a fine meal of hamburger steak and homemade gravy along with green beans. Wife went out to eat with friends and my daughter didn’t want to go anywhere after a long day of band practice. In shaking down the house I found 1 pound of ground beef and offered the hamburger steak as an alternative. Turned out very good. https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/a32689259/hamburger-steak-recipe/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=mgu_ga_del_md_pmx_hybd_mix_us_18345007169&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAACq-IPwEY98ey8mSS1VAL0QLf1yzt&gclid=Cj0KCQjwv_m-BhC4ARIsAIqNeBtpD3TDsRO7EcGo5x74EuRk9LT8_w1KVRuT-3u6rymmPCmVcC_k9VIaAlyMEALw_wcB Didn’t have mushrooms so left them out. Didn’t have thyme so substituted Italian seasoning mix.
johnnydoom Smoked a whole chicken (4.5 lbs.) on the smoker. Only took 1-1/2 hours at 300 degrees and turned out quite tasty with a subtle smoke flavor that didn't overwhelm the chicken. The two kids and I ate it all and some green beans on the side. No leftovers tonight.
johnnydoom Really went all out tonight. Kirkland (Costco) lasagna and Great Value (Walmart) garlic bread.
PA-PLAYA This Italian Bean and Andouille Sausage stew might be the best thing I've ever made. Goes splendidly well with cornbread muffins. Took about 30 minutes total.
Rickochet I pan fried a big fresh top round steak and had an ear of mixed color corn on the cob. Yum.
