Got inspired by a Turkish cook book and made coftessi : minced meat (beaf ans veal) with coocked rice and goat cheese all mixed up with an egg. I took some liberties with the spices and took what was available in my blacony garden : egyptian onoin, savory and oregano. Salt and pepper and a teespoon of paprika for some added zest. Make flatted meatballs (mini burgers) and cover with breadcrumbs. Cooked on the plancha. The origano makes it taste like Turkish with a French Italian meditarianan hint. Next time I'll add some garlic for a bit more punch and lime zest for freshness.

I grilled some chicken breast tenderloins with a southwest rub and covered with pepper jack cheese. Served with shredded lettuce and salsa with Spanish rice and pinto beans with onions. 😋

Baked some sweet potatoes, cubed them up and put them in some Madras Curry sauce with sautéed spinach and shrimp. Added some Garam Masala and dried habaneros and simmered. Served over jasmine rice. Best part? Leftovers!

Wife made chicken salad and salsa. Chicken salad, best on the planet. Salsa, meh.

Trying new crock pot recipe for the 3 huge bone in porkchops I got yesterday....
Salt/pepper low heat in Pam sprayed crock pot...
Large can pineapple slices but save juice for sauce.......mix juice with garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, pour over porkchops that are covered with all the pineapple slices....cook 6 hours on low.
Serve with mashed potatoes, english peas and Hawaiian Rolls!!!

Subsonic Did you taste it? I bet Jelopsters is much better.

I’d eat bees before I ate Jelopsters shit. Nothing personal to Jelopster, I’m a wicked picky eater that doesn’t like my food to touch.

Typhoon you’d have been fine with this dinner. My kids are 5, 8, 9 so I cooked everything separately. Kids just got plain shrimp, rice, and sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmallows. Cucumbers on the side.

Not yet, but getting ready to start on a pot of sausage and lentil soup for supper. Daughter has a late band practice so we don't eat until 7:30 tonight.
