DonM johnnydoom The trick is to find opportunities to pick the middle of the pack teams so you don't have to burn all of the best teams early. Like Steve said, it's a lot of luck.
MartinD DonM The trick is to find opportunities to pick the middle of the pack teams so you don't have to burn all of the best teams early. One way of doing this is to look for the worst teams, and pick their opponents - I did this a few times in the pool that I took part in last year (think that I took Detroit's opponents for the first three weeks...)

That's how I got burned in week 1 of a 1 strike pool. Damn week 1 UPSET! 🤬
MartinD DonM Shhhh.... now you're giving away the secrets. 🙂 It worked until I got scared off by the delay of game that wasn't called and the NFL record field goal that the Ravens needed to beat Detroit in week 3 - any given Sunday...
Stu1961 Joined as Stu2U … and the real secret to “survival” success, is to just go against my picks !!
Stu1961 Spartan Two strikes baby! No clue how this works … Is there a way to see people’s picks? or do they not display until picking time has closed for the week?
DonM Stu1961 It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure you can’t see the group’s picks until the deadline has passed.
DonM Alright guys. We have 13 players as of last night. Can we get a few more? The cost is right! Please see post 1 for details. Sure, you're busy now, but it's going to be a boring winter.... How's that for salemanship? 🙂
