I was doing some consulting work for a company based in Corvallis. At the start, they had me come out for 2 weeks of orientation. Hmm, what to do on the weekend? Bandon/Old Mac on Saturday, then Pacific on Sunday. That was a good business trip. I kept hoping they'd bring be back out in the next 5 years I was working with them, but they never did.
Unfortunately, that consulting job dried up due to COVID, and the consulting company finally laid me off.
Fortunately, the company in Corvallis hired me permanently to work from home. Still waiting for that first 2 week business trip to the home office..... 😁
