Taylormade R7 "TP" irons, 6-PW with S300

For sale is a cult classic set of Taylormade R7 TP irons, 6-PW with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts. The irons are in very good condition. The R7 TP irons are arguably one of the best irons Taylormade has very produced. They are very forgiving and surprisingly soft feeling.

**I do have the SW and I think it's the TP model but would have to doublecheck. I can include it for an additional $35.

I can't believe that you guys that play short sets haven't scarfed these up. Probably the most forgiving TP irons Taylormade has ever made!!

Thanks LB. They are super forgiving and cool looking, too!. And they are nearly as soft as a forged.

I happen to have the A wedge that matches this set. If yours weren't stiff shafts, I'd consider it. I think those of us that play short sets/hybrids at the top end do so because our swings are too slow to effectively hit long irons. Therefore, stiff doesn't work for us so well. Good luck with the sale! 🙂

Sure. It's on a Ping AWT R shaft right now, which I'd just as soon keep, and it wouldn't match your set very well. I can pull it and send you head only, if you want. It's in excellent condition. I'd offer up a trade plus cash but I don't have any .355 shafts and I'm pretty sure that's what TM has in these irons. Do you have any other .355 shafts?

I appreciate it but a new shaft at Golfworks to match my set would be $21.99 plus a new grip and shipping. I don't think I want to spend that much for a gap wedge to go with my set. Thanks for the offer.

Hey g, I finally got into my shaft stash and found the original shaft from the A wedge. It has the original TM sticker on it indicating "Rifle Flighted 6.5 PW Taylormade 181025". You're welcome to it at no charge, but my shipping will go up. As long as I can net $20, I'm happy. So how about $23.50 plus actual shipping, which will probably be about $15?

Bankshot, I appreciate it but the rest of my set is S300. Going to a 6.5 (x-stiff) is just too big a leap. I'd like to keep them all the same or at least within the "stiff" range. I'm still thinking about the head only deal. I'm looking for a reasonable .355 shaft that might work and will let you know. Thanks again.

No worries g. Thought that might be a little too stiff. What works for you on a cash basis just for the head (note condition in photo 🙂?
