Fresh large, no core garden tomato & fresh garden lettuce & local Applewood bacon & whole grain, thick bread
with a generous spread of Duke's mayo.

It didn't last long enough to get a pic. Sorry. 😋

Had a BLT yesterday with a tomato from my next door neighbor and local national award winning bacon. I prefer it to be on toasted white bread. Will have my own soon. These are early girl tomatos.

Love BLT’s. Not a Dukes fan though. Hellmans fan here. Dukes is big here in Florida though.

So typical of this site lately. Much like a person stating 'too much chocolate', in a chocolate cake, these are not BLT sandwiches. They are 'just sandwiches', of un-epic qualities, btw.

🤔...too much chocolate in a chocolate cake......cheese + fried egg......grilled cheese(no mention of bacon even!).....must be long haulers with nasty after affects. SMH

Mayo makes me gag, lettuce is a waste, and I while I like tomatoes, I never thought they went all that well with bacon. Now if you want a nice sandwich, try bacon and grape jam.

When I smoke chicken thighs I remove the skin, save it and fry it up in a pan for chicken skin, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches. Not quite as good as bacon, but a close second. My son really likes them too, have to season the skin with some Tony's creole seasoning for extra goodness.
