Weirfan I have never been an athletic type so you've touched the real root of my struggle. WHATEVER! I am persistent , if nothing else . I hope that doesn't sound unfriendly , it is not meant that way at all, please, I'm not like that .
I'm looking for ways to get drives into the short grass again. Funny thing, I started trying to play AT this @#$!!? game when I retired at 65. Yea, too late, I know . The driver was a friendly happy club back then, found lots of fairways. Iron , putting , play another story . Eyesight , strength , flexibility, coordination, injuries, arthritis all work against the aging duffer in me, but DA in me still wants to think, I can do this. I really don't want very much , just be able to get a chance at greens in regulation on my second shot enough times to have a shot at breaking 90 again, maybe keeping enough length to play the members tees on some of the shorter holes too . I try to get to the range weekly or more, and I have large yard for lots of chipping and some pitching practice . I want badly to get a semblance of driving control back.
