Costco’s got some Bettinardi putters. Maybe they will last longer than the Honma stuff
Bettinardi at Costco?
Looks like they are pushing the 'stock' line out of the door via Costco. The Boutique stuff is still $$$$.
They have some beautiful stuff, I just don't see the point. Kinda like a Scottie Cameron, beautiful I just don't see the point of a putter costing $300-400...
It is not for everybody, in much the same way a Ferrari or Porsche is not for everyone. I just had a buddy spend $1200 on a putter. He is a poor putter but is convinced this will help.
Why do people balk at a high priced putter that they use 30+ times and yet will pay thru the nose for a driver that gets hit maybe 14 time at most during a round?
candukid I can agree, to a point. There are just too many putters out there in the $150 area that will fit almost any golfer. When you buy Scotty, Bettinardi, or the other biggie/exotic/niche names, you are buying just that. A name. You are not buying a better putter. Killer is, most of those look the same as some $150(or less) putters I've seen. And if that $150 putter puts the ball in the hole for you, well then.......there is that.
