Heading to the white sand beaches of Perdido Key, Fl in about 10 days. We drive, and make a pitstop on the first day in Opelousas, LA for some of the best fried chicken in the nation at "Mama's Fried Chicken". My son was in love the first time we stopped 3 years ago, and now it is a yearly destination on the way to the beach. They sell their seasoning that is really good on just about anything!
The goal this year is to catch a Redfish big enough to keep. We always have a seafood feast during our stay at the beach including all the seafood we have caught on our stay. Never caught a redfish we could keep. This year is THE YEAR!
