A long time ago there was a custom clubs golf store in HB that actually
took an old blade style putter and shafted it with some 3/8" rebar.
It was heavy as hell, but really didn't feel too bad.

If I have this grip and shaft installed, to speed up play I will just pick my ball up once it is on the green and call it a one putt, since it is said with this investment I will never miss a putt again

I should have known all along that I'm really a good putter and it's just all of that twisting in my putter shaft and grip that keeps causing me to miss. Thanks to your revealing information I now know the true root cause of my terrible scores! 👍️

When I throw my putter, I really like to feel the shaft kick right before release into the pond. Putter shaft flex is important.

The counterbalanced heavier grip putters seem to do the same thing from a playing weight/balance point perspective especially on slower-medium green speeds.

I have a Wilson Infinite L mallet that I like that tested highly on MGS few years back. $99 new.

My putter is not light as the grip + backweight are ~ 125g. A 265g shaft would be heavier still as I'm guessing my current putter shaft is maybe 100g. I will have to start working out more if I want to switch.
