rsvman2 I have graphite in all my wedges except for the SW, which is an original Ping Eye2 that I am not inclined to mess with. Like they say, 'lf it ain't broke, don't fix it.'
toraider rsvman2 Like they say, 'lf it ain't broke, don't fix it.' β¦or like Dyno used to say βyou can never get the poon back, so never mess with a club that has it!β
Sneakylong I have light weight graphite in all my clubs including putter. I have the Rotex graphite in both my CBX wedges. Stuck my 60 degree from 70 yards to 6 feet yesterday. π Missed the birdie putt. π
johnnydoom I went to all graphite a couple of years ago. I haven't noticed a difference except that I need to be "more" conscious to not rush the swing. The lighter weight seems to cause me to overswing more often than with heavier steel and I need to deliberately dial it back. The feel is reduced with the graphite, but I have dead hands anyway so that doesn't affect me.
scotts33 sdandrea1 I use graphite in my wedges so I'm not jumping from a 9i with a 65g shaft to a wedge with a 120g shaft. Consistency in heft. Even major brands circumvent swing weight heft match going from example D-1 in irons to D-4/D-5 in wedges so some of that is iffy in shaft weight thru tricking up the swing weight scale. For example. IF they were all D-1 thru the shortest clubs/wedges then I would agree. That's 4 deg. loft gaps and 1/2" length graduation.
fatshot Took the graphite out of my 52* gap wedge and installed TT Dynalite with Sensicore. Today I was 4/8 getting it up and down from around the greens......a pretty good improvement from my previous lame efforts. Hope it continues to improve!
