Lamkin Sonar Tour Grip

Looking for feedback on Lamkin Sonar Tour grips. How are they for longevity and in humid wet weather?

scotts33 I put the Sonar + on a couple of clubs and I like it. Similar to CP2 Pro I use, but much tackier. I haven't used them long enough to know how they'll hold up, but they seem solid. Also never got to use them in humid summer so I don't know if they stay tacky.

Turning the dials on our Genesis Material to be slightly firmer

Not familiar with their Genesis material, but these are much softer than the Lamkin Crossline. Got hellacious 'no need for glove' grip, but they are too soft for my use.

I have 6 of these left.......

The Sonar Tour Genesis material I believe to be much like 3Gen material used in past Lamkin grips. So, I'd believe them not to be a soft grip. I hate squishy soft grips and that type of grip always wears too fast for my liking.

scotts33 Same here, with too soft of a grip. Never understood people liking those GP CP2. Tried them, felt like mush in my hands. Club actually twisted with every shot.

Use to really like firm, tacky grips, but age has told me otherwise. JMO.

That's why I quit wearing a glove.

LBlack14 You should have rough hands, like I do. Gloves aren't necessary. I might use one occasionally when it's extremely humid, but normally I don't play in that type conditions. Unless it's a booked tourney. Even then, I might wear 2.

Most people wear gloves that are too big. They are supposed to be so tight you can barely get them on, when new.😉
