As to this thread. There are two areas at play here. There are clients/customers that work thru Wishon dealer clubmaker/fitters and the more prevalent area on G'Buzz the hobbyists that are allowed access to Wishon components thru Diamond Golf UK. That's two separate entities and not to be confused as the same thing.
When Matt Mohi who ran the dealer network and was at Wishon when Tom owned the business in Durango, CO. Matt made clubmakers jump thru hoops (you actually had to be a bonafide business for profit, sales tax # etc.) to gain access to components as well as the dealers had to maintain MAP pricing. Matt left and it was open game.
Today KZG, Swing Science, Alpha maintain that model of doing business. They all would not have stayed in business unless that type of model was not successful but it is harder for hobbyists to gain access. There is no right or wrong here. Hobbyists can get components thru, GW, Hierko, Value etal.
But discussion here is two different things not the same. Ksinger went to Tim Mosel, NJ for the fitting/clubmaking aspect. Clubmakers/fitters are selling their business and skills not a particular brand.
As far as pricing and resale if you got into a purchase with the idea of resale value then you in general are self fitting and looking to recoup. To me that's kind of like you are looking to fail and move on in true ho mode. Again when you are dealing with a clubmaker/fitter there are some warranty and guarantees that the club will perform per your expectation not so when you start purchasing and moving product. It's a viscous cycle IMO.
Just saying! 😄
