What a putt from the fringe.

If it had 'drip in' speed, it would have been a par for the ages. (as Nantz says).

DonM That's what I was saying. But like I said they only use two holes and he happened to hit it 215 on one of them. He had drives of 270,260, and 254 too. It also was wet that first day but I can't believe he can't hit it further. He's only 63 and looks trim and fit and obviously has a pro swing. Seems like 250- 260 should be relatively easy for him. Heck we have guys here older than him that hit it further, although I'm not one of them

Wind speed of less than 10 mph forecasts for tomorrow but gusts could reach 17 mph. That will finish drying out the greens and make them even tougher to navigate on greased lightening.

IMHO, if Scottie can come in with a -2 or better on the day (-1 today with 3 bogies down the last 5 holes), Mullet Boy needs to turn around and improve on his impressive -4 carded today. There was only one -2 recorded today (Fleetwood) and I don't see the traditional Sunday set-up being a walk in the park for anyone. We shall see.

The two hottest players in golf right now living up to the way they were playing coming into the week. I was surprised when I got home last night to see that Shane Lowry gave up his gains from earlier in the round. Thought he was going to be right there with Cam. Greens ought to be at their slickest today, so if anyone is more than a bit nervous it should show. I don't see those two backing up, but you never know given the final round of a major and some touchy greens.

One of the guys on golf channel said he hopes they ease up the course so we don’t see an old fashion US open. What’s wrong with an old fashion US open?

azgreg In this cold weather it has to be stiff as all get out.

    Stiff as a wedding pri*k? 🤣

That's for the old timers here before premarital sex. LOL

scotts33 That's for the old timers here before premarital sex. LOL

There was ever a time before premarital sex? Was it cavemen?

My wife and I have a bet on the Rahm - Woods pairing.....a little off the grid knockdown, drag out match. 🤨🏌

garyt1957 There was ever a time before premarital sex? Was it cavemen?

Yeah for the Puritans in my family. 😉

Henley with a 31 on the front. Which of the front runners will go low today?

Bravopilot Eguller Who do you have and what do you guys bet? Rahm is up 3 on Woods

          I took Rahmbo......Can't divulge the wager. 😜
Based on Rahm's attitude, I thought Tiger might get the best of him....

@livegolf - did you attend The Masters yesterday? They panned the crowd watching the flight of the ball on the 16th and it may have been your Doppelgänger if not.

          Now we check Scotties nerves.....

Min Woo Lee having himself a nice Sunday. Front nine 30!

Appreciate what Woods has accomplished in this game, but I don't get much enjoyment watching him play badly and the over-coverage on TV.

Then you definitely won't enjoy the coming docudrama/movie.... 🙄

sdandrea1 Scotty scrambling for pars. Not a good sign.

He keeps playing like this he'll be passed by a few guys.
