Short, well-maintained muni in Fairfax County. I typically don't play from the tips but this course is so short, I'd recommend doing so (even from the tips, the course has several par 4s that play around 300 yards or under. Several are drivable.). The greens are in really good shape and the fairways are nice too for a muni. Pace was fine and the staff was nice. There is a "par 5" that plays 399 yards from the tips (and really has no business being called a par 5 - Pinecrest has a couple of holes like this too). Hole 2 is a challenge - narrow landing area with an environmentally protected area along the left - be smart unlike me and use an iron off the tee. Fun course appropriate for beginners. Oh yeah - small snackbar but no beer. Alas...
